Firefox is getting an AI Window: Chat with AI while you browse
So, Mozilla is cooking up something new for Firefox called "AI Window." It seems like they're trying to give us a space to chat with an AI assistant while we're browsing the web. I think that the coolest part is that it will be opt-in, meaning that you get to decide when and how you want to use it.
It's pretty clear that everyone is jumping on the AI bandwagon, and browser developers are no exception. Each company tries to offer the greatest solution possible. For example, Mozilla introduced a tool for Firefox on iOS earlier this year. You can just shake your phone, and it will generate a summary of the web page you're viewing. To me, that's a smart way to save time when I'm on the go.
If you're curious about it, you can sign up on Mozilla's blog to get early access and share your thoughts. Having the chance to influence how these tools are developed is something I find really interesting.
