Samsung OLED TVs Gain NVIDIA G-Sync
Gamers rejoice! Samsung's 2025 OLED TV lineup is receiving a significant upgrade with the integration of NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility. This enhancement promises a smoother, more responsive gaming experience on Samsung's large-screen displays.
Seamless Gaming Experience
The S95F series, Samsung's flagship OLED model introduced earlier this year, will be the first to benefit from this update. Other 2025 OLED models, including the S90F and S85F, will follow later in the year. G-Sync's primary function is to synchronize the TV's refresh rate with the GPU's frame rate, resulting in significantly reduced screen tearing and stuttering. This translates to a more fluid and immersive gaming experience, particularly beneficial for competitive players.
According to Samsung, this feature will deliver "elite-level performance". Beyond G-Sync, these OLED TVs already boast features like AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and AI Auto Game Mode for optimized picture and sound settings, further enhancing the gaming experience.
The TVs are available in various sizes, with the largest models reaching a sizable 83 inches, offering an impressive viewing experience.
The announcement coincided with Computex 2025, an event that placed a strong focus on AI advancements this year. The timing suggests a possible synergy between improved gaming graphics processing and the broader advancements in artificial intelligence technology within the industry.
