TikTok Integrates YouTube Music: Save Songs Directly to Your Library

Apps

If you're a TikTok user, you know how often you stumble upon a catchy tune you just have to save. Well, TikTok is making it even easier to do just that! They've expanded their "Add to Music App" feature to include YouTube Music. This means when you hear a song you love on TikTok, you can now directly save it to your YouTube Music library with just a tap.

The "Add to Music App" feature isn't brand new; TikTok initially launched it in the US and UK last year, supporting Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Then, earlier this year, they rolled it out to over 160 countries, which is awesome! They've also added Deezer and SoundCloud to the mix. So, whatever your go-to streaming service is, chances are TikTok has you covered.

Using the feature is super simple. When you see a song you like, just tap the "Add Song" button next to the track name. You can then choose YouTube Music (or any of the other supported services) as your preferred platform. You can even set your default streaming service in the settings, so you don't have to choose every time.

Once you add a song, it'll be automatically added to a "TikTok Songs" playlist in your YouTube Music account. Pretty convenient, right?

According to TikTok, this feature is actually making a big impact on the music industry. Apparently, it's driving tons of streams to music streaming services. Which means that everyone benefits.

I think this is a smart move from TikTok. It's all about making the user experience smoother and more integrated. Plus, it helps people discover new music and easily add it to their existing libraries. What do you think? Will you be using this feature?
